Rae Reid & Stephen W.S. is a small Edinburgh Legal firm, established in 1985 following the dissolution of the former firm of Burnett, Walker Lindesay & Rae W.S., of which the three founding partners had been members. The present Senior Partner, Peter Stephen, graduated in Law from Edinburgh University in 1973 and has been engaged in general practice in Edinburgh since qualifying in 1975. The core business of the firm is in handling Private Client matters although as a General practice, many other areas of Law are covered.

    The Speciality of Rae Reid and Stephen is to provide a personal service to the many problems and troubles which give rise to the need for the services of a Lawyer. 

    The Practice deals principally in Residential House Purchase and Sales and Commercial Conveyancing, acting on behalf of a number of Builders and Developers, also handling Agricultural and Estate Conveyancing, and we have extensive experience in Wills, Executry, and Trust Business. We also deal with Debt Recovery work for a number of substantial clients, and subject to workload may also be willing to handle Divorce and Matrimonial matters, Accident claims and Reparation cases.
